Chemainus Valley Museum – FREE  

Come and try their children's treasure hunt! Fun for all and everyone wins a prize! Come and help support the Museum in keeping Chemainus History alive. 

Live Music - Copper Canyon

Sway to the beat of a perfectly composed mixture of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums with Copper Canyon. Plus, we have our local Municipal figures giving a speech and a special guest singing Oh Canada! 

Cake & Freezies – FREE 

What better way to celebrate than with a piece of cake! At noon after the National Anthem, enjoy the delicious flavours of our Canada Day Celebration Cake in front of the Chemainus Museum.   Country grocers will be providing everyone with free freezies at the event!

Face Painting – FREE 

If you like a little or a lot, we have everything to please. Show your pride with our Canada flags and maple leaf body emblems, or you can really get into the spirit of family fun with our face painting artist.   

Swag – FREE

Come with your Canada gear and celebrate, but don’t worry, if you forget it at home we have you covered. Show your love of Canada and claim your FREE flags, tattoos and more.   

Hotdogs & Hamburgers- donation priced

Swing by for a tasty lunch in the park! The Chemainus Legion #191 will be grilling up classic hot dogs and juicy hamburgers—served by donation. Every bite helps support the Legion’s efforts to bring more great community events like this one to life.

Kids Crafts – FREE 

The Inspiration Station helps to foster children’s creativity through a variety of crafts and projects you get to take home all for FREE.  

Cold drinks – By donation

Selling drinks to fundraise for a great cause, the Neighbourhood house team will be fully stocked.
